The make up of the squads for the coming season is, I think, a step in the right direction. Needs to go somewhat further, but slowly over two or three seasons won't disrupt or penalise clubs to any great degree. The definition of 'homegrown' is a little looser than may appear in the Oxford dictionary, however it is very fair to all clubs. It should also stop the practice of the very rich clubs buying players to sit on the bench, just to stop another club utilizing their services.

All in all, I'm very happy with it. A big well done to the archtects of this one.

Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Aye Tony, and its great you & El Predicto are back at Gingersnaps once again. No sign of the other two yet.

Fabregas leaving, no money for Donovan, Hodgson gone to the dark side, St Mirren still in the SPL, Capello still the boss, whats going on like?

Hey, Jose......good to see you're still enlightning the masses on matters relative to the beautiful game. Trust you're having a good summer and looking forward to some decent English football, EPL variety, after that unadulterated crap served up in South Africa by the boys from Blighty.

Watch out in Ginger Snaps league because this year I'm looking to kick some ass. Remember where you heard it.

IKTS should also be interesting if we get more than 5 participating.

I'm guessing most of them are in their back yards, permanently pissed, and waiting until the last minute to sign up for both of these massive competitions.

BTW, I notice that M. Wenger is not as keen on the new rule as I am. However, he does seem fairly keen to keep young Cesc at the club, which would be a plus.

I read somewhere, someone, don't remember who, was tipping the Toffees to challenge for a top four place this year, if they kept relatively injury free.

I was able to do my predictions but i need an entry number, or something. Will look at ginger snaps this evening; trying to do court papers has a wee bitty higher priority...........though they probably will not accept what i submit because i do not have the "proper forms" and no access to them.

Cesc is staying, Arties leaving for Barca instead. Torres is resuming his love affair with Stevie Me and Chelsea & Manure can kiss me arse.

Will set up a IKNS league and get back to yis. In the meantime you can join other 'potluck' leagues too tha' knows.
